The purebred Ragdoll cat is bred for its docile,
affectionate nature.  If you want an adoring pet, you
will want to have your own Ragdoll cat.  My Ragdoll
kittens, bred under my OzRagdolls prefix are certainly
no exception (registered breeder with FCCV)

I am an avid hobby breeder and take great pride in
breeding the finest quality Ragdoll kittens in seal,
blue, blue lynx and seal mitted.  I breed Ragdoll cats
as a hobby because I love the breed; this means I can,
and do, give the kittens the attention that they deserve.

One of  the  most  important  processes  in  buying a
Ragdoll is establishing the temperament and behaviour
of your kitten; this is directly influenced by the breeder
It cannot be stressed  too strongly the importance of
obtaining your ragdoll from a breeder who has taken the
important step of committing to a standard of practise
and registering this commitment with a State governing
body; this is the only way to guarantee the Ragdoll
qualities are ever-present, and your Ragdoll is of the
highest standard.

I have been breeding Ragdolls for many years, and in that time have established clients both nationally and internationally.  The positive feedback I
receive from buyers is heart-warming, giving me the knowledge that I am a breeder of high quality Ragdolls. All Ragdolls have blue eyes and, through
today’s breeders, exist in the following colors: seal-point, blue-point, chocolate-point, lilac-point, red-point and cream-point.  All kittens are born white,
with their colours emerging at about 10-14 days; full colour and markings don’t mature until they are over 2 years of age.  Ragdolls are reputedly the
largest of the cat breeds with the mature female weighing up to 7-9 kgs, the fully gown males can weigh as much as 13kgs.
If you want a large cat which is non-aggressive, loves to be with people and has a very placid nature, then you will want a Ragdoll.  If you love the look of a
long-haired cat, but don't want the constant grooming associated with other long-haired breeds, a Ragdoll would be the ideal choice for you.  This beautiful
breed makes perfect pets for those looking for a high-profile cat, but with low- maintenance.  The gentle Ragdoll is also good with children and is easy to
introduce into a multi-pet or busy household.   Strictly indoor cats, Ragdolls have a lesser ability to recognise the outdoor dangers; they absolutely love
human companionship and will devote themselves entirely to their owner.  They will always want to be where you are and are usually on their owners lap or
right by their feet; so loyal are they that if you move to another room, they will want to go with you.  They are quite inquisitive and mischievous although still
very gentle, placid and docile; due to their very gentle nature they really depend on their owner to offer security and protection.  Rarely will a Ragdoll use
their claws as it is simply not in their nature to be aggressive; the Ragdoll cat is as laid-back as its name suggests; they are stunning and adoring kittens.
